From space to Minnesota...

Quick note: I've finally figured out how to use Google Reader to its best advantage, and found lots of posts on there that have never been delivered to me through Blogger. So hopefully this means I'll never miss another blog post, and you'll all be hearing a lot more from me! I'm feeling quite pleased with myself :-)

And now...

Today, I'm being interviewed by Rachel at Writing on the Wall. Rachel's questions are awesome. A couple of the questions contain spoilers, but Rachel will highlight these so you can ignore them if you want to.

Personally, I stand in bookshops and read the last line before buying. I can't help myself. But I know I'm not the norm!

Today's picture is - hopefully - somewhere in Minnesota. Isn't it beautiful? I'll see you at Rachel's!

If you'd like to read Cat and The Dreamer, there are links on the left-hand column - just scroll down a bit and you'll find them! I'd love to know what you think.

I'd like to say a huge thnak you to everyone who's hosted a guest post or interviewed me on my blog tour. It's been great fun, and I've loved answering all the great questions you've asked.

And thanks also to everyone who's followed the links, and found my book cover on numerous blogs over the past month. I can't believe Cat and The Dreamer was only released a month ago today!

  2. Glad you figured out Google Reader! It's all I use. Except when I'm on my iPad - then I rely on my blog's sidebar.

    1. I've even worked out that if I highlight a post that I've commented on, I'll know which ones to revisit! I'm on a roll :-)

    1. It seems so much longer than a month, actually. I only realised when I was writing the post yesterday. It's been a whirlwind.

  5. I've never heard of anyone reading the last line of books in the bookstore. Now I know to spend as much time on mine as I do with the first. You can't be the only one who reads them.

  7. I still need to take the time out to figure out and organize Google Reader. Right now, I'm mostly still going through GFC.

    1. It's also just occurred to me that I can add in Wordpress blogs - I follow quite a few of those, so it'll be good to have them all in the same place. It's worth having a look at it.

  8. Happy 30 day anniversary! Loved the book. Now how exactly did you figure out Good Reads? What is there that I am missing?

    1. Thanks Elizabeth. I figured out Google Reader (to view my blog list) not Goodreads - I don't think there's anything on Goodreads that's not easy to figure out.

  11. ...that's funny, I also catch myself reading the last line of a potential read. What can I say...us writers are a different breed, are we not? ;)

    1. At least we understand that the last line is as important as the first!

  12. Congratulations on getting the technical stuff sorted.

Has reading the last line ever spoiled a story for you - or don't you mind even if it does give away whay happened?

    1. I've never had the story ruined by reading the last line. I'm the same with films too - I actively seek out spoilers!
