I'm over on Crystal Collier's blog today, taking part in her
Writerly Wednesday feature. Decide which of my facts is a lie for a chance to win a signed copy of You. I. Us.
In other news, it's hot. The UK is sweltering under a heatwave - although it might already be over by the time you read this. At least I work in an air conditioned gym!
Yay! Yes, you are. And eating cheese. (You are eating cheese, right? RIGHT?!)
ReplyDeleteCheese/chocolate? It's the same thing, right? ;-)
Deletehow hot is hot?? C'mon....
ReplyDeleteMy dad's thermometer recorded 34 degrees Celsius in direct sun, and 27 in the shade yesterday (93 and 81 F). They're probably your winter temps, aren't they?
DeleteCrystal's blog and contest are so much fun. I'll definitely head over. We've had two days of perfect weather (78 F for a high), but the 90s are back tomorrow and our air conditioner is broken. I think we will do lots of shopping, movies, and eating out.
ReplyDeleteI hope you get your air conditioner working again soon. We had three days of really hot weather, and it's back down to more comfortable temperatures - I couldn't imagine a whole season of high temps!
DeleteI've already visited!
ReplyDeleteWishing you cool weather and many sales:)
Thanks Sandra. It's cooler already - and a little bit rainy :-)
DeleteHi human, Annalisa,
ReplyDeleteI'll check you out over there and I will take the liberty of sharing your pawst on here. Must go now to the air conditioned lounge of the place I live.
Pawsitive wishes,
Penny :)
Thanks for sharing, and visiting, Penny. Go and cool off - lots of water, and lots of naps :-)
DeleteI'm glad you're staying cool in the heat.
ReplyDeleteSaw your post at Crystal's! :)
Today's rain is helping :-)
DeleteHi Annalisa - I've been over to Crystal's - enjoyed her post, especially the feature on YOU! and on your upcoming book - it sounds interesting.
ReplyDeleteI couldn't begin to guess about the lie, but I suspect you haven't watched that much telly. I would hope writing was occupying more of your time! :) :)
Good luck with it and I'll be keeping my eye out for it over here in Canada. Sending smiles and happy thoughts your way, Jenny xxoo
It's out now, Jenny! Paperback, Kindle and all other devices too ;-)
DeleteThe telly is on almost constantly while I write. I need music for some projects, but I find the voices soothing. (That's NOT a clue, though!)
Hi Annalisa - just been over to see you ... and I too guessed #2 ... but am looking forward to reading I.U.Us or rather You.I.Us!! Take care and it has been hot ... with lots of hot wind yesterday ... cheers Hilary
ReplyDeleteYour sea breeze must help a little. I hope you're enjoying the slightly cooler weather now.
DeleteIts raining here in India. Thank God the hot weather is behind us.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the rain :-)
DeleteI stopped in at Crystal's last week. Not sure I guessed the lie. Will have to check.
ReplyDeleteThank you :-)
DeleteI will go visit now :) and it has been crazy hot and humid here in Germany as well!
ReplyDeleteYum, melted chocolate :-)
DeleteMake sure the weather stays lovely, Annalisa. I'm on my way over next Monday and we've had no summer yet! I am depending on you :)
ReplyDeleteTemperatures are holding steady at around 20 degrees in the south west, but rain is a guessing game - I think the rest of the country is similar. Enjoy your visit :-)
DeleteI was at Crystal's. Great job!
ReplyDeleteThanks Sandra :-)
