I was very excited on Wednesday when Our Beautiful Child reached the dizzy heights of #18 on the Amazin 'Gothic' rankings on Amazon. I had never considered my writing (or some of my writing) that way, but I like it!
The lovely Misha Gericke has invited me over for an interview - please visit her blog and say hi. Misha has recently opened up her blog for guest posts, so if you have an idea, let her know!
I'm sure there's more I should be sharing with you, but at the moment I'm trying to decide which Chinese takeaway dish to order and watching the build up to the next World Cup match.

Are you watching football?
Who are you supporting?
Or... what are you doing instead?
Go with the Sesame Chicken :-)
ReplyDeleteCongrats on Our Beautiful Child's ranking, my friend. Have a great weekend!!
I had to share with a fussy teen, so it was chicken and baby corn in the end. Have a good one yourself :-)
DeleteOr the Kung Pow Chicken!
ReplyDeleteCurrently watching the NHL and NBA finals.
Give the soccer (ugh, not a fan of that word) a go. The US are playing their first game on Monday!
DeleteI'll root for whoever you say is the best. Sorry - not into soccer "football" here. But have fun!
ReplyDeleteWell, like I mentioned in reply to Alex, USA are playing on Monday, but there's always England ;-)
Delete#18? That's awesome! Congratulations. I'm sure that number will only lower (as in closer to #1). :D
ReplyDeleteNot just yet, Chrys, but I'm sure Amazon isn't reporting properly. I'm keeping a close eye :-)
DeleteWow, totally funny. We're getting Chinese takeout soon too. I know what I'm getting though because I always get the same thing. Chicken Lo Mein. It's not super fancy, but it's my fave and has been for years.
ReplyDelete#18 is awesome! Congrats!!
I cycle about 3 or 4 Chinese dishes - on a menu that has almost 100 dishes, Hubby gets mad at me :-)
DeleteCongrats on the good news #18 on the Amazin 'Gothic'! The Gothic genre is pretty popular right now!
ReplyDeleteI didn't realise Gothic was big. I'm not completely sure I understand what it means - I keep thinking of Jane Eyre and Wuthering Heights!
DeleteCongratulations Annalisa! I hope you enjoy the soccer.
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure 'enjoy' is the word, Murees. Us English tend to watch it behind a cushion, or through our fingers :-) But thank you!
DeleteGlad your book is doing so well!
ReplyDeleteYep, watching the football. Hope England wins. Highly unlikely though!
Well, seeing as you asked - I am sitting in my son's kitchen typing this while he and my grandson watch the match. Grandson isn't sure he can stay awake though - he was up late last night and he's only ten!
ReplyDeleteCongrats! That's awesome news!
ReplyDeleteI'm off to Misha's blog---------
CONGRATULATIONS! That's awesome. It feels good to see your book on those lists. Chinese takeaway. Yum.
ReplyDeleteWonderful ranking and I'll visit the link.
ReplyDeleteAs a Brit, I watched and was not surprised to see us lose - again. I was surprised and sad to see Spain lose so tragically?
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the ranking!!! Brilliant.
