Merry Christmas!!

I tried so hard to get back to my laptop and write a proper Christmas post, but - obviously, as it's the 28th already - I failed. Next year, I'll schedule a post. I might be super-organised and write my Christmas post in October, just to make sure.

I hope everyone had a great time - eating and dranking, overdosing on cake and chocolate and Morecombe and Wise Christmas Specials (probably UK only for that last one) , and spent a great time with their families with no arguments!

I did - a lovely day at my in-laws - but then I got ill. Again. Right now my arms, legs, throat and some of my bones are very sore. I managed some sale shopping yesterday, which - as always, for me - meant buying things that weren't in the sales at all. Every year that happens!

And today, Hubby's cooking Christmas Lunch 2. Yum, yum, can't wait! I just hope my tastebuds hold up long enough for me to enjoy it.

  1. It's a busy time of year isn't it? Lots of commitments and little time to sit and work on the computer.

I'm glad that you enjoyed your Christmas, just sorry that you aren't feeling so good. I hope you manage to shake that off soon. Mr B and I have both felt tired and off colour a little, I think there is one of those typical Christmas bugs doing the rounds. I managed to do my sale shopping from the comfort of my living room. I'm an obsessive internet shopper I think!

I hope you have a good week Annalisa. Merry Christmas.

  2. Thanks Rebecca. When I was in the middle of all those shoppers attacking me with their buggies and bags and the cunning stop-in-the-middle-of-the-path-for-no-reason stunts, I really wished I'd stayed at home. But then, I don't get the same standard of hot chocolate at home!

Hope your bugs don't come to anything. Have a great New Year!

  8. Oh, feel better soon Annalisa. The only TV I managed on Christmas day was Doctor Who :-)

  9. I hope you are on the mend! I braved a few after Christmas sales to restock the wrapping paper supply. And like you, I bought things that really weren't on sale but were completely necessary to my existence. Budget planning begins Jan 1.

  10. Rosalind - oh yes! Back before I married Hubby, we used to have lunch at my mum's and dinner at his. Two in one day! Ah, happy times :-)

Sarah - thanks Sarah. What did you think of Dr Who? I was a bit disappointed. It didn't have us biting our nails in fear and excitement - not even my 7 year old.

Julie - wrapping paper? Now, that's organised!

  12. Yeah, my Christmas post was a little late too. But I figure at least I got it up, that's better than nothing.
