It seemed like a good idea to sign up for this, but I have a problem. It often feels like everyone has heard of everything I like - I'll find something amazing and want to share it with people, and they all look at me, with pity, and say "Yeah, we all knew about that last year."
So, this is a challenge...
Um....
Er....
Okay, here goes... a lot of you have heard/read Suzannah Dunn's historical fiction, yes? If no, my job is done, go and read...

Past Caring is another book that doesn't seem to have an image available - it's about reincarnation, though, and pretty good.

This is a very intriguing author for me to definitely put on my TBR list right here and now. Thanks for sharing what looks like some promising works. So wonderful when reading someone's work changes your life's direction.
ReplyDeleteMy under-rated treasures would be places to go, so perhaps I'm not a proper author yet? Garachicoo in the north west of Tenerife - you have to go there.
ReplyDeleteyou got me! i'm learning about a lot of underrated gems!
ReplyDeletethanks for yours!
Thanks for visiting. I was going to reply individually, but you've all said the same thing! I didn't realise Dunn was so underrated - I assumed her historicals, at least, were well read. I first discovered her around the same time as Philippa Gregory - they both started with contemporary and moved into historicals, although Gregory seems to be more well-known.
ReplyDeleteShe IS underrated, and your job IS done - I'd never heard of her til now. I'm convinced! Thank you!
ReplyDeleteI haven't read these. Thanks for the heads up.
